Maya Moussa

Maya is an undergraduate Computer and Communications Engineering student with a passion for technology, education, and their importance on youth and female empowerment. In 2017, she co-founded "All Girls Code", to empower young girls with hands-on STEM experience and encourage them to take on careers in the Tech field.

In 2015, Maya was selected by the U.S. Department of State as a Tech Girl Participant - an international scholarship exchange program that inspires girls in the MENA region to take on careers in technology.Maya was also an organizer with Google Developer’s Group Coast Lebanon, and Women Tech-Makers Lebanon, and has given multiple talks and workshops about programming, public speaking and youth leadership. In early 2018, she was selected by Stanford AMENDS as one of their 2018 Delegates.

Her most recent work revolves about empowering refugees through the use of education and technology.

Aside from that, Maya enjoys learning about politics and international affairs, weight-lifting, reading, and visiting art galleries.
